This online classified website is a quick and easy way to browse used cars without the hassle and pushy salesmen and women. The first step in buying a used car on the popular online auction website is to visit the main website at Craigslist.org. From there, you must select your state. On the next page, select your city. Only a limited number of cities are listed. If yours is not, select the next closest. Once on the city pages for Craigslist, look on the left-hand side. There, you will find a search box. The search is automatically set to search for sale listings. All you need to do is enter in a search phrase. If your main goal is to find a cheap car, search for cars, trucks, vans, and so forth. If you have a specific make and model in mind, use it to perform your search. Next, you arrive at your search results page. This includes a list of all for sale used car listings that meet your criteria. You will see a heading, which should quickly describe the vehicle, the location of the vehicle, and the asking price. Click on each heading for the full listing. When inside, read all information carefully. One of the many benefits of using Craigslist.org to buy a used vehicle is you get to avoid the pushy salespeople. But, as pushy has they can be, they can also provide you with valuable information. You want this same information, but it must come from the seller. At the very least, a seller should tell you the make, model, and year of a vehicle.
